The technical exchange between MAXAIR ATL was a complete success

 On September 6, 2018, the MAXAIR technical team, represented by Mr. Yin Guohong, chairman of MAXAIR, met with ATL in Ningde, Fujian to discuss pneumatic products for the lithium battery industry.

  Mr. Yin Guohong said that the problems faced by pneumatic components in the lithium battery industry are:

  1. Pneumatic component materials  surface treatment affect battery quality

  2. The impact of dust on the life of pneumatic components

  3. The impact of the dust produced by the pneumatic components on the battery

  4. The life of pneumatic components is shortened in dry environment

  5. Electrolyte damage to pneumatic products

  Regarding the above problems, MAXAIR provides the following solutions:

  1. Copper Prohibition-Restrict materials  surface treatments that are  suitable for secondary battery manufacturing processes.

Reduce the product rejection rate of secondary batteries.

  2. Dust resistance-also has a long life in a dust environment

Adopt sturdy dust-proof structure such as scraper  piston rod dust seal. Inhibit dust intrusion into the cylinder.

  3. Reduce dust generation-suppress dust generation of metal wear debris

Equipped with local exhaust function (vacuum port). It does  leak metal wear debris to the outside to prevent mixing into the battery cell.

  4. Drying resistance-also has a long life in an ultra-dry environment

Use grease suitable for ultra-dry environments. It can keep the sliding part lubricated for a long time even in a dry environment.

  5. Corrosion resistance-also has a long life in the electrolyte environment

The seal is made of special fluoroelastomer material. Effectively solve the problem of electrolyte corrosion of conventional seals.
